Neatline: Home

What is Neatline?

Neatline is a suite of plugins for Omeka that allow the user to create interactive maps, timelines, and visuals. For more information and instructions on installing Omeka on your Digital UIC Dashboard, please see this Omeka Guide.

Neatline exhibits are generally maps or images that are used as a base layer on which users can impose Neatline records. Neatline records can draw from Omeka items but they do not have to; they can be made up of embedded media from elsewhere on the internet. Records are built into the map in a variety of customizable ways. Neatline can be as simple or as complicated as you would like.
