Suggested template language for using INDIGO in your DMP for grant applications is provided below. Please see: https://researchguides.uic.edu/dataplans/dmp for additional considerations when writing a DMP.

Research outputs will be preserved and shared with the public via INDIGO, the University of Illinois Chicago's institutional repository. INDIGO is managed by the UIC University Library and is hosted on the platform Figshare, a cloud based repository service.
INDIGO allows users to make their research output available in citable, searchable, and shareable format through the Figshare platform. Figshare supports OAI-PMH and publishes content using DOIs as persistent identifiers to support discoverability and provide citations for access to content and proper attribution.
Please do not write INDIGO into your DMP without first consulting with the library that INDIGO is appropriate and will meet your needs. Email the library at: INDIGO@uic.edu
Do not place confidential, sensitive, protected, or proprietary data in INDIGO.
