It’s back! The Peeps Contest is on for National Library Week 2023.

Make a diorama with your colleagues or department, using the popular (tasty! microwaveable!) marshmallow "Peeps" candy, common in stores every Spring. Here's some online inspiration!

RULES: 

1.  Make a diorama using Peeps!

2.   Your diorama must include at least one Peep.

   1.  Peeps can be any type: birds, chicks, etc.  Use your favorite, or any combination.

   2.  Use any other materials you want. Paper, cardboard, wood, toys, markers, glue, fabric, etc. are all OK.

   3.  Dioramas have no size limits: they can be small as a thimble, or big as a house.

   4.   Give your diorama a theme and name.  Any theme is OK.

3.  This is about community!  Please submit group entries only. 

   1.   Minimum: 4 people

   2.  Maximum: 10 people

   3.  No individual entries will be accepted.  Everyone in the group should participate.

   4.  All locations/sites welcome!

4.   Build your diorama from Monday March 6 - April 14

5.  Enter to win:

   1.  Please submit up to three (3) photographs by midnight, April 14.  

   2. File upload will ask for your email (for questions), the name of your diorama, and your team members.

      1. Try to make your pictures sharp and bright. Feel free to zoom in on a particular detail or take from different angles. We will be posting them for everyone to vote on.

6.  Display your diorama proudly! 

7.  Voting will begin at the start of National Library week, Monday April 24 and will close on April 27. The Winner will be Announced April 28.

   1. The top voted entry will win a delivered meal!  (LCBC will contact the winning group to discuss dietary restrictions, preferences, and time/date that works for them.)
