Book Club Meeting Dates for 2026

Thanks to everyone for a lovely year! 

New dates for 2026 meetings will be posted in January.

The first meeting of 2026 will be the week of January 19, 2026!

About the Book Club

The UIC General Book Club is a book club started in 2016 for library staff, faculty, and student workers. It meets once a month and the format varies between discussing what attendees have read in the previous month, or with a chosen book. Starting in 2020, the club has moved virtual to include as many people as we can!

The group has a Goodreads page where books discussed during the meetings are noted (in the bookshelf area) so that if people are interested in something being discussed, they can easily find it to borrow:
