The UIC General Book Club has been going strong since 2016. Thank you to everyone who's stopped in for one or some or all of the meetings! <3

For the October book club meeting, we are asking people to read/share an autumnal or spooky read!

If you would like some suggestions, or are curious about what other autumn/spooky books the club has discussed before, check out our autumn/Halloween GoodReads bookshelf linked here. (You do have to be a member of the GR group to see the shelf.)

The UIC General Book Club is a book club started in 2016 for library staff, faculty, and student workers. It meets once a month and the format varies between discussing what attendees have read in the previous month, or with a chosen book. Starting in 2020, the club has moved virtual to include as many people as we can!

The group has a Goodreads page where books discussed during the meetings are noted (in the bookshelf area) so that if people are interested in something being discussed, they can easily find it to borrow:
