Help with UIC Library Search

Logging In

To access many UIC Library materials you may need to login.

Logging in requires a UIC ID (i-card), even for off-campus users.  To sign up for an i-card

  1. contact the UIC ID Center, with the following information:
    • your name
    • your university ID number (UIN)
    • your email address
  2. Ask for a “no print” i-card (you won’t receive a physical card; that's OK.)
  3. Once the ID center processes your request, you may experience a delay (up to a day) before you can access Library materials.  In the meantime, you might try looking for materials in Google Scholar

If you continue to have trouble, please contact the Library.
