Is comprised of the city of Chicago and the northeastern Illinois counties: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will.
Chicago the Metropolitan Statistical Area (map in blue):
According to the Census Bureau includes: Chicago, Naperville, Elgin and parts of Indiana and Wisconsin.
