You can search for books locally in the library catalog.
To browse in the stacks, go to the 4th floor of Daley Library to find these Library of Congress Call Numbers:
- Instruments and machines QA75-76.95
- Calculating machines QA75.5-76.95
- Electronic computers. Computer science QA76.75-76.765
- Computer software QA101-(145)
However, note that most new computer science books are in e-book format.
E-book collections
Search for e-books in the main search box on the library home page. Login for fullest results. Select UIC Catalog only. Limit to Books and Available Online in the left column.
- E-books come from a range of collections, listed below.
- The amount of the book that can be downloaded and/or printed varies by platform.
- Some platforms allow you to create accounts and save titles, or annotate the e-books.
