I have been at UIC since August 2018. Through my entire academic career I have been interested in cultural, social and political issues surrounding education. As my career progressed my desire was further reinforced to be a part of the community that leads the change in improving access and equality in scholarly research across the world and in languages other than English. I am committed to the internationalization of the librarianship field and this constitutes my primary research interest.
