Finding Tests and Reviews
Due to copyright restrictions, it can be difficult to find copies of psychological tests which must be purchased directly from the publisher. However, test reviews are published in reference sources such as the Mental Measurements Yearbook (MMY)
The Buros Institute of Mental Measurements web site provides an index to the many volumes of Mental Measurements Yearbook and tells you which volume(s) of MMY contain reviews of a particular test.
You can search databases such as Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI) or PsycInfo to find articles or book chapters that mention a particular test or contain excerpts of it. Furthermore, the bibliographies of journal articles often reference other sources that contain excerpts of tests.
