Additional Requirement 25: Data Management and Access

• Publications policy effective date: April 8, 2024 (new awards only)
• Data management and sharing policy effective date: October 1, 2024 (new awards only) 

CDC requires all research proposals to include a Data Management Plan (DMP).

CDC requires CDC-funded investigators to:

• Submit an electronic version of manuscripts resulting from extramural or intramural work to PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS) 
• Share all primary data through CDC/ATSDR Scientific Data Repository and its data dissemination portal CDC WONDER.
