Library Patron Access and the Law
4-week course (4 hours of work per week) taught regularly by Juice Academy that takes you through two topics of particular interest: (1) Patron behavior policies and (2) Access to information by patrons with disabilities. You will address an issue or problem in each area, and work through legal frameworks to see how to minimize risk and maximize access. Cost: $200.
Disability Readiness for Leaders & Management
30-min video from LinkedIn Learning that covers how to be inclusive to disabled people in the hiring process and once they are employed. Free when logging in with UIC credentials.
