Your UIC NETID and password is what you would use to access library resources from off campus. This is the same username and password you would use to access Blackboard.

Using BrowZine to Keep Current

BrowZine Web
BrowZine is a service that interacts with a library’s existing e-journal resources allowing users to browse journals in a normalized setting and create a personalized reading room of journals to follow. Originally developed for mobile devices, it is now being expanded to a web interface for laptop and desktop use. A BrowZine account is required to sync between the app and BrowZine Web.
Using LibKey Nomad
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that connects our journal subscriptions to article PDFs, both our subscriptions or open access options. It integrates to our databases and takes you to the document (if we have it) or the interlibrary loan link (if we don't).
It also does a great job of flagging article retractions.
Download the extension* to your preferred browser. Select University of Illinois Chicago as your institution. Make sure the Extension is turned on in your browser and you're ready to go (browser restart may be required).
*UIC doesn't allow extensions in your Chrome/Google account. Use your personal account.
