This guide offers some "best bets" in terms of where to search for research pertaining to the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL). Many teaching and learning journals are indexed in the education databases, thus starting with a combined search of ERIC, Education Research Complete and Academic Search Complete through EbscoHOST is a logical strategy. Beyond that, you can use citation tracking databases to connect to newer research or highly cited studies related to your area of inquiry, search broad multidisciplinary collections, or subject-specific databases. It covers many topics from fine, decorative and commercial art to photography, film and architecture. The database also includes Art Index Retrospective which covers index from 1929-1984.
