• Publications policy effective date: October 1, 2024 (new and existing awards)
• Data management and sharing policy effective date: October 1, 2025 (new awards only) 

• Requires all research proposals to include a DMP.
• Must submit accepted manuscript (peer reviewed manuscripts or final published articles) and metadata to the Office of Scientific and Technical Information (OSTI) by using the Public Access Gateway for Energy and Science (PAGES)  .
