The Metacognitive Awareness of Reading Strategies Inventory (MARSI) is an instrument that you can use to become more aware of the strategies you employ when reading, and identify potential strategies that you may not be using. Completing this inventory can be a useful step for recognizing your strengths as well as areas for further skill development related to a few key "strategy groups." To complete the inventory, you will answer a series of questions and compute your score. Keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers; the tool is designed to help you identify and build on strengths and identify areas for improvement.
