Welcome to the Nursing Experts: Translating the Evidence guide for resources and learning!  This guide is a tool for learning about evidence based practice and a portal to evidence based practice resources.  This guide contains 3 paths. One path is for public health nurses, one is for other public health professionals, and the third is for nursing professionals working in acute and ambulatory care.

History of Teaching Evidence Based Public Health Nursing

This project is built upon a long history of teaching evidence based practice concepts and skills.  Some of the instructional materials included in this guide were developed under previous projects that were funded by the National Library of Medicine (NLM).  These materials have been revised, updated, and incorporated into this single guide to resources and learning.  The NExT project continues to benefit from NLM funding to support some aspects of the project.  The team would like to acknowledge all current and past funding:
