To enter the library, you need to comply with all University Level Policies on health screening and the screening protocol outlined by your home college or department, the Dean of Students, or Campus Housing, even if you feel healthy.
- Do not come to campus if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
- To enter the library you must:
- Book a seat
- Schedule Saliva-based COVID Testing a minimum of once every 14 days. If you take the saliva-based test on the same day you wish to visit the library, ask for a proof of testing form at the testing site. Testing is necessary for vaccinated individuals.
- Complete the UIC Healthcheck self-assessment tool.
- If you come to campus and begin experiencing any possible COVID-19 symptoms, you must leave campus and inform your healthcare provider. Employees should notify their local HR representative. Faculty, staff and health science professional students (Nursing, Dentistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Applied Health Sciences) should report through University Health Services online form. Students should call Student Health Services for guidance at 312-996-2901.
