Welcome to the Online Nursing Experts: Translating the Evidence (NExT) Course For Public Health Nursing

You may work through the lessons at your own pace. Each lesson consists of one or more video lectures followed by activities to reinforce key concepts from each lecture.

 

Seven (7) Free Continuing Education Units are available for nurses or librarians.  This course is anticipated to take 7 hours.

For Nurses - Continuing education units are provided by the Chi Sigma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International and Western Illinois University School of Nursing who is approved by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation –Illinois Nurse Practice Act – Continuing Education (CE) Requirements [Section 1300.130 c)1)N)] accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.

For Librarians - Continuing education credits are provided by the Medical Library Association (MLA).
