Emily M. Johnson is the Regional Health Sciences Librarian & Assistant Professor at the Library of the Health Sciences - Peoria.  She joined University of Illinois - Chicago in July 2013.  Her primary liaison responsibilities are to the College of Medicine and College of Nursing based in Peoria, IL. 

Johnson earned her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010.  She also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Resources from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.  She is a member of the Medical Library Association, the Midwest Chapter of the MLA and the Health Science Librarians of Illinois.
