Hub 1

The primary purpose of Hub 1 is to provide access to tools that allow for creation of materials and objects to support research and instruction.

Hub 2

Hub 2 is to provide access to tools that allow analysis and presentation of data in whatever form it might take. 

All tools and software are available to support a diversity of research interests and are available to faculty, staff, and students.

3D Printing

  • It is a 3D modelling and rendering software which can be used for making 3D animations, models, games and images. The efficient and flexible toolset to create 3D design in less time.

Adobe Creative Cloud

  • The entire suite of Adobe Creative gives users access to a collection of software used for graphic design, video editing & production, web development, photography, animation and more.

ArcGIS

  • ArcGIS  is geographic information system(GIS) for working with maps and  geographic information maintained by Esri.

  • ArcGIS Online is a compatible cloud-based GIS mapping software that connects people, locations and data using interactive maps.

Audacity

  • Audacity is able to record and edit audio cross platform. It will accept WAV, AIFF, MP3 and OGG files. Also, it is able to cut, paste , copy and mix tracks or add effects to your audio recording. It’s a free downloadable software. 

iMovie

  • iMovie an easy to use editing program from Apple. A recommended tool for video slideshows and entry-level video assignments.

Matlab

  • MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages.

Maya

  • Autodesk Maya is an industry leading 3D animation software application that enables users to create highly professional three-dimensional (3D) cinematic animations.

 R and R-Studio

  • A software environment for statistical computing, data analytics, research and graphics. R is a most popular language to retrieve, clean, analyze and present data. It’s an open source software and runs on all platforms.

SPSS

  • Statistical Package for Social Sciences is a statistics software that can be used to perform statistical operations

Tableau

  • Tableau is data visualization software that is used for data science and business intelligence. Tableau specializes in storytelling through interactive visualizations. It offers a live- query feature capabilities, extracts and forecasting features. 

Rapid Miner

  • Data science platform that provides integrated environment for data preparation, machine learning, deep learning, text mining and predictive analytics. It’s an intuitive graphical user interface for the design of analysis processes.

Python

  • Jupyter Notebook application allows to create and edit documents that display the input and output of Python script. Jupyter Notebook can be launched through Anaconda Distribution.
