Professional Duties

Alyne's primary work includes providing research assistance to library users and teaching information literacy sessions.


Alyne Connie is a Visiting Instructor and Student Services Librarian at the University of Ilinois at Chicago. Alyne earned her MLIS degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the fall of 2014 via LEEP.

In 2012, Alyne graduated from UIC with a BA in English and a double minor in Philosophy and Psychology.

From 2009 to 2014, Alyne worked as an student aide, and then as a building manager for the UIC Daley Library Circulation department.  

And from 2012 to 2014, Alyne worked as a reference graduate assistant for Reseach Services and Resources department at Daley as well.
