Marcia Dellenbach joined the University of Illinois, Chicago Library in 2004 after heading up the Business/Science/Technology Division of the Chicago Public Library. She formerly worked at Roosevelt University as a reference librarian. Marcia is the Library Liaison for the College of Business Administration and Economics, as well as an assistant reference and senor instruction librarian at the Daley Library.
Marcia earned her M.L.S. and B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She has continued her education by taking courses in business, history and information science.
As a Reference Librarian, I provide professional research support and reference service to students, faculty and staff. I create research and subject guides in a variety of subject areas. I teach information literacy to undergraduate and graduate students.
As a Liaison and Selector, I am continually evaluating our collection and making selections to keep our resources both current and relevant in a rapidly changing environment.
