Whether you're into superheroes, memoirs, science, or history, UIC's collection of comics and graphic novels has something for you. This guide contains info about comics in general and also gives you some examples of the kinds of comics you can find at UIC.

Finding Comics at UIC

Because comics can be about almost anything, there isn't just one place to look for them in the library. However, there are two ways to see what we have.

1. Browsing the shelves: The largest concentration of comic books occurs around the PN 6700 call number (4th floor north in Daley LIbrary). But there are many in other areas, which you can find by...

2. Searching the library catalog. Most comics are identified with the "Comic Books" or "Graphic Novels" topic or genre. You can search for these terms in the catalog or use this pre-loaded search.

We also have a growing collection of comics in Spanish, German, French, and Italian.
