Biographical Information

I joined UIC Library of the Health Science as a Visiting Information Services Librarian and Visiting Instructor in 2013. My current role is the Health Sciences Bibliographer and Assistant Professor. My major responsibility is to acquire and maintain different formats of resources to meet the educational and research needs of library patrons and achieve the mission of the University Library to support, enhance, and collaborate in the education, research and services activities of the University. Before joining UIC, I worked at hospital library for 10 years.

I got my MLIS degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison.  I am a Senior Member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP).


My research has focused on collection assessment of the acquired resources, and usage data analysis to develop evidence-based collection development.


I currently serve at Continuing Education Committee of Medical Library Association.
