EDUCATION & CLINICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Master of Library and Information Science, Dominican University.    Master of Health Science, Governors State University.   BA, Communication Science, Governors State University.   Certificate in Computer Programming and System Analysis, DePaul University.  

Clinical Credentials: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor.

EXPERIENCE

Current Appointment: Assistant Professor & Assistant Information Services and Clinical Librarian, Library of the Health Sciences, University of Illinois at Chicago. Liaison to the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine - Department of Medical Education, Graduate Medical Education & Residency Programs, and Undergraduate Medical Education Programs. Liaison to the University of Illinois at Chicago Hospital & Health Sciences System (UIHHSS) and the Children's Hospital (CHUI), where she serves clinical teams. 

Related Experience: Professor Clark held a previous appointments as a Visiting Information Services Librarian at the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as an appointment as Adjunct Online Librarian and Instructor in the UIC Health Informatics Program. She has been responsible for administration, grants applications and management, and web communications for a clinical translational center. Her clinical experience includes therapy and patient education on inpatient and outpatient services. Previously, she has also provided consulting services to large corporations as a systems analyst and software programmer.
