Greater Midwest Region (GMR) Award, National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) – UIC EBM Course to Web-based Online Version. Developed web-based tutorials for Evidence Based Medicine specifically related to appraising the evidence.  (Co Investigator) (February 2010 to January 2011)

Council for Excellence in Teaching and Learning’s (CETL)  Curriculum and Improvement GrantInternal UIC Grant.  Developed web-based tutorials aimed at health sciences graduate students to foster scholarly communications knowledge and information technology skills: a web-based tutorial for health Sciences Graduate Students. (Primary Investigator) (March 2009 to June 2010)

Greater Midwest Region (GMR) Award, National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) – Public Health Subcontract funded by the National Library of Medicine. Award used to improve the skills of public health nurses in finding and evaluating evidence and enhance their access to information to support evidence-based practice.  (Primary Investigator)  (September 2006 – November 2007)

Greater Midwest Region (GMR) Award, National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) - Technology Awareness Award funded by the National Library of Medicine. Trained Public Health Professionals in the use of Information Technology including PDAs, online searching, and creating personal databases.  (Primary Investigator)
