Presented by Daniel J. Siegel, MD

Dr. Siegel is an award-winning educator and New York Times best-selling author whose talk is the same title as his recent book in which he explores the science underlying the effectiveness of meditation as well as his own concept of the “Wheel of Awareness” as a tool for cultivating more focus, presence and peace in day-to-day life. Siegel received his medical degree from Harvard University and completed his postgraduate medical education at UCLA where he is currently Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and serves as Co-Director of Mindful Awareness Research Center.
