Business and Finance Records

The permanent records from the business and finance records schedule include:
 

  • Budget Planning Records
    Chancellor's and Vice Presidents’ offices ONLY: annual budget summaries; statements of state fund budget allocations; expenditure reports; and summary reports of accounting, debt, external audit, and acquisitions.
          – hold 10 years after completion then transfer to the University Archives
  • Comptroller Annual Reports
    Comptroller Annual Reports including details such as supporting schedules and summarizations regarding the planning and allocation of expenditures in support of University activities such as teaching and research.
          – hold 10 years after completion then transfer to the University Archives
  • Funded Research Grant Proposals and Reports
    Final proposals and final project reports only for grants ending this fiscal year.
          – hold 6 years after completion of final report then transfer to the University Archives
