The Reserve Desk houses a sizable DVD collection comprising a strong overview of the humanities, arts, social sciences, and other areas of interest.

Our collection contains many of the most popular feature films and many documentary, independent and foreign films.

  • Multi-region players are available for use in the library for non-region 1 or PAL format films, for further information see the "Where to Watch/Listen?" tab at the top of this page.
  • DVDs may be loaned for 3 days to students, faculty* and staff unless otherwise reserved for a class.

To access our DVD collection please bring the call number of the item and your UIC iCard to the desk and our friendly staff will assist you.

*Instructors using a film for classroom screenings may request an extended loan period of up to 3 weeks, barring any scheduling conflicts.
